U-12 squads set the tone this past FBM weekend
Tarara, tarara, tarara! (musical background) Do you hear that?
Here comes the usual, the reliable #LaCronica, the week-by-week summary that lets you know what happened on the FBM courts on November 23th and 24th for Torrejón Basketball Academy, from the TBS Schools and the Benjamins to the Senior National in the VIPS League.
We read the highlights:
First Year Benjamin Girls again are showing that each day they improve with their basketball, and despite the defeat (41-26) against Santa María del Pilar as visitors, they have looked good. We will play at the Javi Limones on November 30th, against Virgen de Atocha, at 10:45.
Second Year Benjamin Girls team was able to put in the extra and find the way to victory this November 16th (44-20) against the Alcorcón Azul Girls team at the Javi Limones. We levelled the record in the standings at 2-2. We now have to wait until November 30th at a time to be determined, to play against Real Canoe at the Javi Limones.
The First Year Alevin have then earned their well-deserved day of rest from two weekends ago. The category went out as visitors against Parla Básquet (22-33) and won, a direct rival in the table with 3-2. We rise to fifth position with the same record and above Parla momentarily, and now it will be November 30th at 2:30 p.m., when we have to face Tres Cantos B.
Our First Year Girls Alevin continue at an undefeated pace, enjoying again (55-17) against Pureza de María, in action of the Marco Aldany League for Group 7. You can enjoy the clips of this game on our social channels. We are going for another adventure this November 30th, at 1:00 p.m. as visitors against Valdeluz.
The Second Year Boys Alevin have lost again this season, not finding themselves as a team in the final part against Cabrini A.P.A (43-66) at home, which remains undefeated. We are now going to face Ensanche Vallecas B on November 30th, in their pavilion, at 18:00.
The Second Year Boys Alevin Torrejón had their duel against Virgen de Atocha pending on November 23rd in their pavilion. It will be this November 30th at 12:30 in the Javi Limones, when we return to action against C.B Las Rozas A, a tough rival.
The Second Year Girls Alevin continue to enjoy themselves on the court and crush their rivals, in a good way. After the most recent victory (62-28) against Arcángel Rafael, which you can also enjoy on video on our social channels. The next game will be at 11:15 on November 30th, when we will play against C.B Navalcarnero.
Infantil Preferente Femenino Primer Año could not extend the winning streak it had, falling in a strange game (54-26) Baloncesto 86 La Salle, in an open-air arena where the cold affected. This weekend of November 30th, we take a breath and rest.
Infantil Preferente Femenino continues to add positively and last weekend was no exception (37-40) against Fuenlabrada Femenino Azul, in their arena. 6-1 record and we continue in high gear, towards the top of the standings. This coming November 30th at 09:00 we will play against Movistar Estudiantes B, in the Javi Limones.
Infantil Primer Año already has top speed, and continues to win; the Javi Piñar-led team, undefeated with 5-0 now, has added (60-10) against C.B Villa de Leganés. The Nacho Gallego-coached team will visit Baloncesto Alameda de Osuna Blanco on November 30th at 2:30 p.m.
The Infantil Preferente Azul team has not yet found its way this season, falling (64-13) to U.B Torabasket in their home arena. We hope to get that push that we have been lacking on November 30th against C.D Norte, at 9:00 a.m. in the Javi Limones.
Infantil B now rises to 7-0 in the league (52-34) after emerging victorious against Colegio Estudiantes Las Tablas B. Our U-14 team in the Preferente category is simply tremendous, and this encourages us to do more. We are going on November 30th at 10:45 a.m. against Valdefuentes BF Azul, there in their home arena.
Infantil A team keeps up the pace and continues to grow in the season, now with a 6-2 record. This November 24th, as visitors against Baloncesto Aristos A, we won (62-74) and we continue to dream. We are escorting Baloncesto Rivas Parque Sureste that has only lost once. The new round in Bronze will take us to Javi Limones, against Real Canoe B this December 1st at 12:30.
Cadete Preferente Femenino fell at the Javi Limones (35-43) against C.B Ciudad de Móstoles. We dropped to a 4-3 record, in fifth place in the FBM league table. Baloncesto Alcalá A is the next challenge that lies ahead, at 11:45 in their pavilion on November 30th.
Cadete 2010 Blanco does not achieve the formula at the Nuria Fernández (37-52), after the match against Fénix Basket Club where we fell. Both teams with a 1-6 record, tied towards the lower part of the table of positions. On November 30th at 13:15 in the Polideportivo Las Matas, we will play against C.B Las Rozas D.
Cadete Primer Año was no rival for C.B Pozuelo Amarillo (124-22) in their pavilion. We hope to get out of the league basement on November 30, when we will face Baloncesto Alcalá on the Espartales court at a time to be determined.
Cadete Preferente was unable (63-49) to beat Básquet Aranjuez Blanco last weekend, in their pavilion. This reality will change when on November 30th at 10:45 in the Nuria Fernández we face Cabrini A.P.A Verde.
Cadete B was very serious as visitors (49-54) against C.B Villa de Valdemoro A and we won there. We beat the second in the table, and thus we went up to a 3-5 record, with a different spirit to continue applauding and competing. We will play in the Nuria Fernández on December 1st, at 17:00 against Ensanche de Vallecas.
Cadete A has played a very brave game again at the Javi Limones, and this time they achieved the goal set (75-50) against Tres Cantos A. José Vidal, the reference being the top scorer of the game. We are fifth in the Gold category, with a 2-6 record now. New obstacle to overcome this November 30th at 8:00 p.m. when we go to the SBA Arena of Spanish Basketball Academy A.
Júnior Preferente Azul rested over the weekend, and we hope to change the pattern of defeats this next day, when we come out of our second day of rest last weekend to play against Montessori Basket on November 30th at their pavilion at 6:30 p.m. J
únior Preferente Blanco cleaned up their image this November 23rd and boy did they do it, at the home of C.B Pozuelo (38-78) winning in a resounding way. We climbed to a record of 3-6 in the standings. This December 1st at Nuria Fernández at 18:45, we will await the arrival of C.B Moratalaz A.
Júnior B has had a hard time extending its good moment, and loses (51-39) away from home against C.D Estudio B. We are fifth, with a record of 3-5 in the current FBM season. We will seek revenge against a team that beat us in Limones, Majadahonda Naranja, this December 1st at 13:00 in the El Tejar pavilion.
Junior A could not continue adding, and at home (65-100) we have dissolved against Zentro Basket A after competing well in the first three quarters of the game. The highlights on our social channels. The team now heads to another very interesting duel at home, against Pablo Laso A, at 09:00 this coming December 1st.
The U-22 Bronze team got its third win of the season (54-59) against Agustiniano, in Madrid. A lot of credit to the group, lifting up with the help of a great Joseph Ples. We leveled the record at 3-3 in the standings. The category will rest a lot, since it returns to action on December 15th at a time yet to be defined, against Astrobasket Valdemoro at the Javi Limones.
The U-22 Silver team could not capitalize after the weekend of rest that the team had, and in a dull game where the offense was slow (58-60), we surprisingly lost against A.D.C Boadilla A at the Javi Limones. The images on our social channels. We are no longer undefeated, and we fall to second place in the standings behind the undefeated Mirasur. Of course, the highlight will be this December 1st because we will face Mirasur, at 8:00 p.m. in their pavilion in the city of Pinto.
The U-22 Gold also lost its unbeaten streak on the road on November 24th (76-84) against C.B Majadahonda. Now, 7-1, tied with this same rival at the top of the standings. We will seek to change this and continue to exercise the dominance that characterizes us this December 1st at 10:45 at the Javi Limones, against C.B Las Rozas A.
In the Second Autonomous Division, Torrejón Spartans fell at home again, against (58-77) GSD Alcalá, and our position in the table is complicated, dropping to eighth place, with a 3-4 record. We will go to Colmenar Viejo to play against this rival on Sunday, December 1st, at 09:45.
And to finish #LaCrónica, the Senior National TBS is on another gear and has won again consecutively (63-70) as visitors in Arganda del Rey, against Suministros Industriales Arganda. Rubén Escanciano, the leading scorer, and Javier Sánchez has put the blood in with his dunks, rebounds, and intensity near the boards, supporting his effort. 8-1 in the VIPS League, tied for first place with C.D Estudio, and they play this coming weekend at 8:00 p.m. in Pinto, against Pintobasket on November 30th.
