Another edition of #LaCronica with the action of this past FBM weekend of April 13th and 14th, vibrating with the Playoffs in the Madrid Basketball Federation. In addition, with what will be the preview for this next Madrid basketball weekend:

This April 13th, Second Year Benjamín beat Juventud Alcalá B (30-48), and with this victory we have a 2-0 record in this phase. On April 20th at 10:45 at Javi Limones we will face Colegio Caldeiro.

The First Year Alevín continues to win, and win; this time at Javi Limones (91-60) against Baloncesto Navalcarnero. We also scored 2-0 in this second phase and next weekend we will play at the Javi Limones against Movistar Estudiantes Suárez, at 12:30 on April 13th.

The First Year Girls Alevín awaits their second game of the phase and it will be at the Javi Limones at 7:15 p.m., this April 26th against Lions Basket Arroyomolinos A. Then, on April 27th itself, a double date against Spinola Chamartín also in the Javi Limones and that one at 9 AM.

The Second Year Alevín A debuted in the second phase of the FBM League this April 13th against Baloncesto Leganés B, with an accessible victory (64-14). This April 20, we will visit Alcalá de Henares to play with Juventud Alcalá Guadalajara at 1:00 p.m.

The Second Year Alevín B has not been able to shake this negative streak in the Marco Aldany League on April 13th, falling (49-65) against Alcorcón Basket B. Starting this phase 0-2, we hope to turn this around on April 20th at 12:30 when we visit Valcude Alcobendas B.

The Second Year Girls Alevín enjoyed their weekend of rest, before visiting again on April 20th to play at 11:00 at Corazonistas home.

The First Year Girls Infantil team has easily beaten Villa de Valdemoro B this April 13th (46-11), supported by their great collective defense and toughness on the rebound. Now, we aim to continue winning when this April 20th we go as visitors to Baloncesto Navalcarnero, at 09:00.

The Infantil Preferente Femenino narrowly lost to Colegio Miramadrid on April 13th (43-34), in a duel closer than what the scoreboard reflected. The last day of the regular season, the J-18, takes us to Javi Limones this April 27th to face Severo Torrejón in the derby, at 10:45. Our rival is last with a record of 0-15, so victory is necessary.

The Infantil de Primer Año B with consecutive falls, this time at the home of Distrito Olimpico San Blas (60-49). It is time to reverse this panorama of the second phase when this April 20th we face CB Isaac Newton, at the Nuria Fernández at 12:30.

First Year Infantil Torrejón Baloncesto won at the home of San Ignacio Torrelodones (41-63), to go on the right foot for what is to come. This April 21th at 5:45 p.m. we will go to Javi Limones to play against C.D Estudio A.

The Infantil Preferente did not look good as a visitor against La Paz C.D Amarillo this past weekend (65-39), and Matchday 21 of the league will bring us the derby home, when it is our turn to play this April 20th at 7:15 p.m. before Parque Cataluña Torrejón in Nuria Fernández; a difficult rival from the top of the standings.

Infantil A received C.B Las Rozas B (44-46) at the Javi Limones and lost it in the last breath, in a great game for the brave. The kids have looked good despite the setback, and this April 21th we will go to the Pez Volador to play against Real Canoe B, at 11:15.

The Cadete Femenino could not win in a row at the Javi Limones, after losing to Patrocinio San José in the J-20 (43-61). The next date will be for visitors, April 20th at the Alameda de Osuna School at 1:00 p.m.

Our Blue Cadet 2009 did not have its day this April 13th, since they lost (48-55) against Olympic Aranjuez in a game that gave sensations that it should have been won. The category hopes to regain that positive momentum this April 20th when we go home to Valdeluz, at 11:15.

Cadete Blanco 2009 had a complex outing to Colegio Everest (56-36) also losing. League Matchday 18 returns us home to play at Javi Limones at 09:00 against G.S.D Guadarrama.

Cadet Basketball Torrejón 2008 B received Majadahonda Blanco at the Javi Limones (61-48) and was able to hold on to win. There are now five wins for this team, congratulations! This coming April 20th at 09:00 we have to go home again, although at Nuria Fernández against Marianistas Amoros.

The Torrejón 2008 A Basketball Cadet continues its unstoppable streak of victories, and faced Aravaca Basket C.D.E, on April 13th (44-51) and beat them. On April 20th we are going to play at the Nuria Fernández at 10:45 against C.B Coslada A, who is our closest pursuer in the standings.

Cadet B has been awarded and promoted to Silver category, from Bronze, and this April 21th we will visit C.B Las Rozas B, to play at 7:30 p.m. The journey of the category begins in this phase.

Cadet A has started this part of the FBM Gold phase in the Quarterfinals against Real Canoe A with a defeat (93-68). We hope to get up for the second of the 1/4 Final series this April 20th at home, at 2:15 p.m.

Junior Masc. Preferente was unable to continue its spectacular streak on April 13th, visiting San Patricio (61-53), and it is time to make a comeback in the second game of the FBM Round of 16, which will be on April 20th at 7:45 at Javi Limones.

Junior B rests for much of April, and we will return to the court this 28th of the month, at home, to face Uros de Rivas B beginning the third phase in Bronze.

Junior A lost in their Quarterfinal tie against Movistar Estudiantes A, whom we congratulate on their qualification to the Final Four in Madrid. First, this past April 11th was the first of the bracket (81-59) and we were badly defeated. Footage of then game on our YouTube channel. Then on April 12th, the series returned home and we played at Javi Limones where we were forced to win to tie it at one apiece, and force the third game, and we almost (70-73) did it but fell short. Great game by Mexican José Delgado, who led with 25 points.

The U-22 Bronze team continued its path of victory this past April 14 (35-68) against Baloncesto La Salle 86 on the last date of the regular season. League leaders with 21-1, and officially to the Round of 16. Next duel? This April 28th, at the Menesiano School at 11:30. The second of the series will be at Javi Limones on May 5th.

The U-22 Oro visited and defeated I.E University in the Cuatro Torres (55-78), despite a setback on the scoresheets with the registration of a player. We are leaders with a record of 20-2, and officially to the Playoffs: The Round of 16 will start this April 21th at 4:00 p.m. at the Javi Limones, against C.D Tajamar. Game #2 will be on April 28th at 5:00 p.m. in their pavilion in the south of Madrid.

And finally, the leader of the VIPS League, the Senior National TBS, faced off in the Playoffs with the Round of 16 duel this Saturday, April 13th, against Baloncesto Villalba (85-61), and the first victory of the series. Rubén Escanciano, reference and top scorer. The second duel will be this April 20th at 5:00 p.m. in the Enrique Blas pavilion. If we win, we will advance to the Quarterfinals. We are Torrejón!
