First version of #LaCrónica in this year 2023, the usual summary of how it has been last weekend for Torrejón Basketball Academy, the first date in the return to competition after the December vacations break in the different FBM categories in which we compete:

The girls of the Second Year Alevín could not work their objective this January 14th against visiting Pintobasket (69-19) and after a slight change in the calendar, they return to action this January 21st at the Javi Limones at 11:00 in the morning, against C.B Getafe.

The sophomore Alevín squad is unstoppable with this 7-0 record. The last victim of our courageous team has been the European Villanueva del Pardillo (44-64), from which we got twenty difference visiting the town. The next game will be on January 21st at 9 AM, at Javi Limones where we will face C.B Leganés B. To continue extending the undefeated? Yes yes.

The positive streak of the Infantil First Year has been cut, in the dispute against C.B Moratalaz A as a visitor (64-57). We fall to a 4-4 mark in the general table, and we will play against C.D.V the next day at the Nuria Fernández at 4:00 p.m. on January 21st.

The Infantil Femenino almost did it at home, falling narrowly (41-44) against Bulldogs Basketball C.D.E on January 14th, which was a direct rival on the table. Now we will go before C.B Pozuelo, on January 21 in Pozuelo de Alarcón at 1:00 p.m.

Our Preferred Yellow Children did not fulfill the task against Colegio Joyfe (42-52), and it is time to recover those positive sensations this January 21st at 1:00 p.m. on the Torre de Hortaleza home court.

The Preferred Infantil with a weak performance at home (14-65), being swept by C.B Arganda on January 14. We drop to a 4-5 record in the standings, and we return to the ring this January 21 to fight in Magariños, when at 3:30 p.m. we play against Movistar Estudiantes C.

Infantil A went to Antonio Díaz Miguel to play against Zentro Basket A with force, and even being up in the game scoreboard at times, in the end we unfortunately let it escape in the final minutes (59-50). The day has come, yes! Our Female Cadet has achieved it against C.B Getafe last January 14th (52-35). Finally, the first victory of the season arrived, the most complete game and where everyone contributed. Congratulations to our girls. Record of 1-9, and we want to continue setting this trend when we face Pureza de María in their home court on January 21st at 10 AM.

Cadet B Preferential could not match up against (25-103) Parque Cataluña Torrejón Negro. It is time to get rid of defeat, and go for it all on January 21st at 9:30 in the morning against San Viator B, in Madrid.

The Cadete A Preferente started well this 2023 with the victory over Canillejas Olympic District (60-26), comfortable to continue on the rise. Mark of 5-3 in the table. We return this January 21 as visitors against Aravaca Basket C.D.E, at 11:30.

The Cadet B thing was simply spectacular: Carlos Marín had a buzzer beater, when there were only seconds left after a timeout by Nacho Gallego, to thus sentence C.B Pozuelo (58-59) in addition to visitors. On January 22 we are going against Arcángel Rafael, at 7:30 p.m., to try to extend to 2-0 in the standings in this second phase.

Cadet A put C.B Tres Cantos A in their place (58-72), visiting their stadium. After a bad first quarter, the team reacted with little success but with great defensive work to overcome the eleven point advantage that Tres Cantos had during the first quarter. We reached the break with -2 and a great start in the third quarter with ten consecutive points from Luis Marena in just one minute and forty-five seconds, broke the game in our favor. We are going against Real Canoe B on January 22nd, at Javi Limones at 17:45.

Very good what the Junior B Preferente did against C.B Navalcarnero B (51-55) doing the visitor homework to break them. Revolution B the next rival, at 1:00 p.m. at Javi Limones, this January 21st. This team is yet to win, and is last with a 0-12 mark, so we expect to hand them yet another loss.

Unexpected setback for Junior A Preferente against Pilaristas (73-55) as visitors. We lost to an accessible rival and conceded our second defeat of the year, although we are still leaders in the league. We will play again, against Liceo Francés A at Nuria Fernández this January 21 at 7:30 p.m.

The Junior Femenino continues to push hard and beat rivals, this time against Distrito Carabanchel (29-39). Those led by Flavio Sosa now have their sixth victory of the season and are in third place in the table. Santa María del Pilar will be the next team to beat, this January 21 visit at 11:15.

Junior B had his match against A.D.C Boadilla postponed on January 15, at Javi Limones, for January 21 at 8:30 p.m. In addition, the next day in Madrid, we will play against Olympic District A. Two wins can catapult us to the leadership of the second phase.

Junior A got off to a good start with their great duel against Real Madrid A, at Javi Limones (52-94) but it was not enough, logically against the favorite to be European champion in the Euroleague ANGT. U-22 Oro played in a phenomenal way and took the unbeaten record from the French Lyceum in Madrid (80-81), in a game where Simeon Maynard was full of energy, with several three-pointers and good driving game. Flavio Sosa men are still in second place on the table, inspired, and waiting to face Baloncesto Torrelodones on January 22, at 4 PM, at Javi Limones. A gray start to the year 2023 for our National Senior, conceding a defeat against Alcorcón Basket (59-85) in the Limones. Positive points of Jackson Townsend and Jake Salinero, among the few of the collective. It is time to recover, cut this bad streak of two defeats in a row and beat C.D.V, this January 22nd at 7:00 p.m., as visitors.
