Malique Lewis makes the ACB jump towards Urbas Fuenlabrada
Our stellar Junior, Trinidadian prospect Malique Lewis, has been transferred to ACB team Urbas Fuenlabrada where he will seek to continue his meteoric rise to the top division of professional basketball in Spain.
Since his arrival at the end of 2019, the 2.02m tall forward has had a brilliant youth career at Torrejón Basketball Academy both in the Cadete and this past season, alternating between Junior A and our national senior Torrejón Basket squads, being also the best young player of all the Madrid First National League, the Spanish 5th Division. Listed as one of the best players born in 2004 developing in the country, the sixteen-year-old native of the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago will have his EBA league debut with the Fuenlabrada B affiliate this coming season.
This important movement continues to consolidate the TBS project as a talent shuttle, and we wish Malique the best of luck in his new professional adventure.
