#LaCronica has arrived with a crucial weekend for Torrejón Basketball Academy, following the March 22nd and 23rd game days in our categories. FBM Play-In games, qualifications from Mini categories to Playoffs, and the National Senior team repeating as the best team of the regular season in the VIPS League.

Here we go:

First-Year Girls Benjamín lost (0-51) to Baloncesto Rivas Sureste, the undefeated leaders of the group.

The Second-Year Girls Benjamín put in a very decent performance (50-34) despite losing to Colegio Valdeluz. We are sixth in the standings with a 4-10 record.

First-Year Boys Alevín won against the fourth-place team in the league (45-31), A.D.C. Boadilla. We remain firmly in third place with a 10-6 record and are working to climb to the top spot.

The First-Year Girls Alevín team remains unbeaten, and what a way to extend their unbeaten record on March 22 against Fuentelarreyna. The José Gismero-led team is undefeated in the Playoffs! Living history this season. We are in the Round of 32 playoffs this March 29 at 9:00 a.m. at Javi Limones Stadium against Baloncesto Rivas Parque Sureste.

The Second-Year Boys Alevín Blanco team scored a huge win against Valcude Alcobendas, a direct rival we are chasing in the standings, on the road (43-47) as well as away. We are in fifth place in the standings.

The Second-Year Boys Alevín Torrejón team now defeated Movistar Estudiantes Garino (69-19) on March 22 at Javi Limones Stadium. We are ahead with a 16-1 record. Playoffs, Playoffs! The team coached by David Sánz Jr has had a tremendous campaign, with a vintage performance from Maxi Maxt who will be representing us at Selección Madrid. We are in the Round of 32 playoffs on April 26 at the Ángel Durango stadium, against Lions Basket Arroyomolinos A, at a time to be determined.

The Second-Year Girls Alevín have another victory (39-70) against Valcude Alcobendas at their home arena. We lead the standings with a 17-1 record. The Nerea Sánchez-led girls are doing amazing, we are going to the playoffs! It is the first time in TBS history in both the Under-12 and Girls categories that we have reached this stage. We are in the Round of 32 playoffs on April 26 at a time to be determined, against Uros de Rivas A at the Javi Limones stadium.

First-Year Girls Infantil could not improve their record to 9-6 after losing last weekend (49-60) to C.B Zona Press. They are second, we are fourth in the standings. This March 30th, we will go to La Guindalera to play against Colegio Menesiano at 11:15 AM.

The Infantil Preferente Femenino team lost (32-24) to Movistar Estudiantes B. This opponent improves to 16-2, and we drop to 12-7. We will play this March 29th at Javi Limones Stadium at 9:00 AM against Liceo Francés Nico.

Infantil First Year, well, what you are doing is truly incredible; that is seventeen straight wins, after last weekend win (59-9) against Club Europeo Baloncesto. Undefeated! We will play C.B. Pozuelo away on March 29th at 5:15 PM.

The Infantil Preferente Azul team lost (29-65) to Alameda de Osuna Blanco. A tough opponent, because this team was second in the standings. On March 29th at 4:30 PM, we will play against Valdefuentes B.F Blanco at that school.

Infantil B has been surprised and lost for the first time all season (67-57) to Colegio Estudiantes Las Tablas B at their home arena. We remain at the top, but now at 17-1. We will play A.D.C. Boadilla B on March 29th at 9:00 AM at the Ángel Nieto Stadium.

Infantil A continues to do its homework and has won again to create chaos in the standings (60-55), defeating Baloncesto Aristos on March 16th at the Javi Limones Stadium. Now, we force a three-way tie for second place with this opponent and Arroyomolinos, both with 6-4 records. We will play Distrito Olímpico B for 37th to 48th place in the league on March 30th at 1:30 PM in San Blas.

Cadete Preferente Femenino has not found its rhythm and has repeated a poor performance (18-67) again, when on March 22nd at Javi Limones we lost against Baloncesto Alcalá A. From mathematically making the playoffs, now things have now become more complicated. We are playing at C.B. Getafe home court on March 29th at 9:30 AM.

Cadete 2010 Blanco lost (34-72) to C.B. Las Rozas D. A match that started out difficult in the build-up, as they are third in the standings. We are ahead against Corazonistas Blanco on March 29th at the same school at 9:00 AM.

Cadete Primero Año (First Year Cadet) fought for the second game in a row against one of the favorites (45-67), but it was not enough to defeat Baloncesto Alcalá. We will have a weekend off at the next round. We will be back in action on April 5th against Colegio Miramadrid at Javi Limones Stadium, in a time yet to be determined.

Cadete Preferente competed (61-46) but could not beat Cabrini A.P.A. Verde. A great game against a superior opponent. We will now go on March 29th at 10:45 AM at Javi Limones Stadium against Revolution A, looking to recover our spirits.

Cadete B deserves applause, because they almost achieved their first win of the phase (67-66) against Baloncesto Leganés at Carlos Sastre Stadium. Having been eliminated, we have to wait a month until April 27th to return to Javi Limones and face Pablo Laso Academy B, for the 37th to 48th places in the league.

Cadete A worked hard and fought until the end (74-70), but we lost in this past weekend Play-In game. Baloncesto Alcobendas A was the opponent, at Pedro Ferrandiz Stadium, March 22. Now we will expect reseeding for the reclassification games.

Júnior Preferente Azul lost (61-35) to Bigmat Fuenlabrada in an away match. A duel between third and fourth in the standings. This March 29, we will play at Javi Limones Stadium at 12:30 p.m. against Baloncesto San Fernando.

Júnior Preferente Blanco has returned to winning ways, and what a performance they achieved at Nuria Fernández Stadium against C.B. Pozuelo (86-53), getting a much-needed result. This March 22, we will play at 8:00 p.m. against C.B. Moratalaz A at their home arena.

Júnior B played a tremendous game at C.D. Estudio Stadium (65-66) and beat them in the final. It was their second win in this phase, and one that counts for a lot. We will play this April 5th at 5:45 PM in El Plantío against C.B. Coslada for the 37th to 48th place in the league.

The Junior A team did not have a good afternoon (67-86) in the Play-In gameagainst Pablo Laso Academy A at Javi Limones, and we are left on the road to achieve a berth to the FBM Gold Playoffs. We have to await reclassification games.

The U-22 Bronze team had another great game, and they are still on a roll: we triumphed (40-77) against Astrobasket Valdemoro on March 23rd away. The next match will be on March 30th away at 5:30 PM against Meco Basketball Academy, vying for supremacy in the Corredor de Henares.

The U-22 Silver team played another solid game and continued to win (64-74) against Liceo Sorolla on March 23rd away. We remain in second place with a 15-3 record, chasing Mirasur School. This March 30th at 4:30 PM against Maravillas, at the Joaquín Blume Stadium.

The U-22 Gold team does not let up the pressure, and does it again (85-73) against Revolution, the opponent we host at the Javi Limones Stadium. We travel to Los Almendros at 8:30 PM this March 30th against Uros de Rivas A.

In the Second Division, Torrejón Spartans shook off their losing streak and found the path to victory (81-71) this March 23rd at the Dental Ciempobasket at the Javi Limones Stadium. Where to next? On March 30th at 4:00 PM in San Agustín de Los Negrales, against Baloncesto Villalba.

And to finish #LaCrónica, the TBS Senior National has achieved its goal and repeated last season 2023-2024 performance (87-93) after defeating Pau Monroig-led C.D Estudio in Aravaca on March 23rd. We are headed to the Playoffs as the VIPS regular season leader. Go for it! 17-5 is our record, and now we are headed to the VIPS Round of 16 against Baloncesto Atocha La Hipoteca de Tu Vida.
