The cold month January is already red hot with all the action on the FBM courts and to find out more, we have #LaCronica, with another edition of this season in progress and we know how the Torrejón Basketball Academy teams fared on January 18th and 19th:

First Year Girls Benjamín has lost in another duel of learning and how to compete (52-2) against Distrito Olímpico, and the category will return to action against Ricopia Juan de Austria on January 25th, at Javi Limones at 2:15 p.m.

Second Year Girls Benjamín is on the rise with its sensations, and we have won (45-14) against San José del Parque demonstrating good basketball. You can relive the passages on our social channels, on video. We will play again this January 25th as visitors at 09:45, against Brains Arturo Soria.

The First Year Boys Alevin team continues to rise and has managed another good victory on the road (53-92), this time against Ábaco 2014, last weekend. Now we are up to third place in the table, with a record of 6-3. We are back in action this January 25th at the Javi Limones at 09:00, against C.D Estudio Amarillo.

The First Year Girls Alevin team has no brakes, and continues its winning streak in a tremendous way (51-25), after the last one against C.D Estudio at home. The highlights are on our social networks. We hope to continue widening the gap as leaders this January 25th at El Plantío, against C.B Coslada at 13:00.

The Second Year Boys Alevin team Blanco could not continue its winning streak at the Javi Limones, after falling (47-54) against Valcude Alcobendas, one of the three best in the league. Our team is in sixth place with a 3-5 record. We will play again on January 25 at 09:30 in Santa María del Pilar, but also on January 26 at 16:00 at the Javi Limones against Recuerdo S.A.D.

The Torrejón Second Year Boys Alevinhave had their eighth win this season (65-94) against Baloncesto Villalba. We only know of wins and only one loss in the league this year. We will play again on January 25th at 10:45 at the Javi Limones, against Tres Cantos A.

The Second Year Girls Alevin are putting on a show this year, they keep winning and showing that they are a great team (87-18) after beating Aravaca Basket C.D.E. at home. The highlights on our social channels. The girls will try to extend their unbeaten streak when we play against Parque Cataluña as visitors on January 25th, in the derby at 15:15.

Infantil Preferente Femenino Primer Año (First Year) has rowed in the last quarter with everything it had, leaving the rival at just two points, but the comeback has not been enough (29-30) against Menesiano on January 18th. Well played by Daniel Ríos-led team, who had many absences due to illness and yet they have competed. Colegio Estudiantes Las Tablas B will play us in the Javi Limones, on January 25th at 14:15.

Infantil Preferente Femenino came back and knew how to hold on (32-34) against Movistar Estudiantes C, as visitors, to thus achieve their eighth league victory and much merit for the complexity of the challenge, too. Come on, girls! On January 25th at 19:45 we will play against Alameda de Osuna 2011 in their pavilion.

Infantil Primer Año remains undefeated and what happened at Javi Limones against Pozuelo B (53-3), the last in the table, was no exception last weekend. The category will seek to extend this dominance on January 25th at Javi Limones at 12:30, when we face Arganzuela Centro.

Infantil Preferente Azul could not win at the home of Gaudem C.D.E B (69-24), and loses for the ninth time in the competition in this year 2024-2025. This January 25th at 2:15 p.m. at Nuria Fernández we will face Distrito Carabanchel B.

Infantil B went to Ciudad Lineal against Colegio Joyfe this January 18th (41-61) and won by twenty points, a solid game in all our lines. We remain undefeated, with a record of 11-0, and the rival in third position. We are going to Valdeluz on January 25th at 09:30 for the next challenge.

The Infantil A team went out at home with the same remarkable energy (69-55) against Lions Basket Arroyomolinos and beat them, obtaining the second victory of the phase. This January 26th we will try to make it three out of three when we play against C.B Villa de Valdemoro as visitors at 09:30.

Cadete Preferente Femenino continues to extend its positive moment, winning and pleasing, and this time it was against (48-24) Colmenar Viejo at the Javi Limones on January 18th. We raised our record to 7-4. We are now going this January 25th, at 12:30 at the Nuria Fernández against Rivas Parque Sureste B.

Cadete 2010 Blanco cannot (29-59) against Mirasur School Azul and our team is dangerously situated towards the bottom of the classification table. This January 26th we will play at 18:15 against Maravillas in their La Salle pavilion.

Cadete Primer Año could not extend its positive moment (58-24), falling against Parque Cataluña Negro, the second placed team in the table. The category returns to the court this January 25th against Ábaco 2010, at 16:00 and this will be played in the Nuria Fernández.

Cadete Preferente could not find the way when in La Caja Mágica we found it uphill (79-24), against Movistar Estudiantes A. The team will go out on the court again this January 25th in the Nuria Fernández against Baloncesto San Fernando, at 09:00.

Cadete B could not return to the winning path (73-41) against Uros de Rivas A, as visitors. We are 0-2 at the start of 2025 and we hope to start changing this at 09:00 on January 26th at Javi Limones, against Baloncesto Villalba.

Cadete A with its first defeat in the Silver phase (88-73) against Zentro Basket Futures, and we leveled at 1-1 at the start of 2025. We will seek to achieve our second victory when we face Distrito Olímpico A, this January 25th at Nuria Fernández at 10:45.

Júnior Preferente Azul with the second victory of the course (42-27) against Colmenar Viejo B. Congratulations, group! We are going against C.D Nile this January 26th at their pavilion, at 13:00.

Júnior Preferente Blanco was lucky this time (61-25) against C.D Las Rozas D. The fourth victory of the season for the team. It will be on January 25th when the team takes to the court again, at 2:45 p.m., against Uros de Rivas at Cerro del Telégrafo.

Junior B fought for it but this time it has slipped away (58-59) by the minimum against Gigantes, at Javi Limones. A shame, because this was at the tip of the fingers. We will return this January 26th at 5:00 p.m. visiting Los Rosales, against C.B Ciudad de Móstoles.

Junior A rose and boy did they do it, as visitors, against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada A (61-72) to obtain the first victory of the Silver phase, and of 2025. Sebastián Malavé, the most outstanding player on offense. This January 26th we will play against Ricopia Funbal Juan de Austria, at 10:45 a.m. at Javi Limones.

The U-22 Bronze team had a day off that we had to play this weekend of January 18-19. We will be back on the road this January 26th at 12:30, against Baloncesto San Fernando as visitors.

The U-22 Silver team has again scored positively (90-68), against Distrito Carabanchel. We are still in second place in the table, and you can relive the match in photos on our social channels. The group comes this January 26th at 5:00 p.m. to play their match against C.B Perales, at the Nuria Fernández.

The U-22 Gold team is at the top with a record of 11-1, after the most recent victory (109-62) against C.B Pozuelo A. Photos and the review on our social channels. The category will now play on January 26 against Veritas Pozuelo, at 1:00 p.m. at the Instituto Veritas.

The Second Autonomous Championship with the Torrejón Spartans this time gave in to a rival (72-53) falling to Basket Aranjuez and equaling the fourth position in the table with this team, with a 6-5 record. We are going this January 26th at 1:30 p.m. against Patrocinio San José, in Madrid.

And to finish #LaCrónica, the Senior National TBS with a simply spectacular game (59-100) against Colmenar Viejo, a rival that had beaten us in the first leg, and which we were able to tie down there now. Abentín and Escanciano with the veteran badge, and also highlighting Javier Sánchez. Three-way tie at the top of the VIPS League, with 10-3 between us and two other teams. Now it is time at the Javi Limones to receive Juventud Alcalá, at 7:30 p.m. this January 25th.
