The sun is out, and in Torrejón de Ardoz we smile. Yes, it is the dawn of a new season of the Madrid Basketball Federation, and the arduous summer days in our Campus, plus the harsh preseason work in September, have prepared us to the max for what is to come.

The first edition of #LaCronica begins with the action of this past FBM weekend on September 21st and 22nd:

Benjamins and Alevines, boys and girls, will still have to wait a little for their start of the season, but, several of our categories have played preseason friendlies this weekend, and we highlight the girls of the Benjamín 2016, so welcome to TBS, kids!

Also, the triumphs of the Benjamín girls in 2015, as well as the Alevín girls in 2014 and 2013, with a lot of multimedia content of them which we will be uploading this week on our social channels X, Instagram, and YouTube.

The Infantil A team has played a brave game in its debut on September 22nd in the FBM League at the Javi Limones (84-54), after beating Baloncesto Fuenlabrada B. This is the first phase in Bronze, and the next weekend, on September 29th at 4:30 pm, we will go to Rivas as visitors, against Baloncesto Rivas Sureste A.

The Cadet B team, already competing in the Bronze category, had a duel this past September 22nd against Olímpico 64 (89-52) at home at the Javi Limones and we were able to achieve it without much difficulty. We are going to J-2 on September 29th at Antonio Díaz Miguel at 1:30 p.m., against Zentro Basket Futures.

The Cadet A team started with the most difficult rival of the year in this first phase in Gold on September 21st at 5:00 p.m, in Valdebebas against Real Madrid A (158-35), in what was a one-way game. The offensive highlights of the game are on our YouTube channel for your enjoyment. Next weekend we will play at Javi Limones, on September 29th at 1:30 p.m. against Real Canoe A.

Júnior Preferente Azul has had a day off this past weekend, but it already has a schedule to debut on September 29th at 11:45 a.m. at Nuria Fernández, when we will receive Fundal Alcobendas Brewster.

Junior Preferente Blanco was not lucky in its opening match (41-70) when it was defeated at home on Sunday night, against Virgen de Atocha B. We return to the court this September 28th at 11:30, visiting C.B Las Rozas D.

Junior B opened its 2024-2025 cycle at Javi Limones with a defeat (58-81) in the first phase in Bronze, against Halcones Arquiverde. We will seek revenge and find the first victory on September 29th at 9:30, when we go to visit Madrid against Olímpico 64 B.

Junior A did not have it clear last Sunday, falling in the Caja Mágica against Movistar Estudiantes A (109-57), in the debut of the first Gold phase in the FBM year. Next game day we hope to recover positive feelings, when on September 29th at 4:00 p.m. at Javi Limones we face Sun Chlorella Dragons.

The U-22 Bronze has not started its season like our team in Silver, and the U-22 Gold is already on its way to a new quest for a podium in Madrid this September 29th, when we go to visit C.B Pozuelo, at 9:45 in the morning.

And to close this edition, the steamroller of the Senior National TBS, which was the leader of the VIPS League in the regular season last year, started very well on this new path of 2024-2025 in our pursuit of the goal of promotion to the Third FEB, formerly the EBA League; We have emerged victorious from the Pabellón La Canaleta Saturday night, beating Alcorcón Basket (72-86) in the VIPS Match of the Day no more and no less.
