What a way to close our season. We are tenth in all of Spain! Torrejón Basketball Academy has competed for the second edition in a row in the Spanish U-17 Championship in the 3x3 modality, since its creation, and has achieved its best historical result so far with a #10 place at the national level.

The scene, again beachy. From Cala Millor, Mallorca, we move on to Punta Umbría, Huelva in 2024, and enormous logistics have been achieved by FEB with the 38 best teams in Spain in a weekend of vibrant emotions.

Our team journey began with victory on June 14 in the afternoon, defeating (10-16) C.D San Ignacio U-17. Then, on the morning of June 15, we would suffer a tight overtime defeat (15-17) against Cteib U-17, starting the day. The team struggled with everything in their third match, also losing in overtime (19-21) against C.B Enrique Soler U-17 after noon. Then, in the afternoon, we beat (15-14) C.B Tormes U-17 in another tight score, to level our record at 2-2 and, by coefficient and point differential, thus obtain tenth place in the competition.

Álvaro Fernández, Alejandro Domingo, Carlos Flores and Alioune Badara, the four members of the team that achieved this great TBS result. Also, honorable mention to Pedrinho Fernandes, as well as Francisco Abeso, who participated in the FBM qualification round, achieving the Madrid bronze medal. It improved from 25th position, achieved in the debut edition of this event at the national level, to 10th position.

TBS is committed to continuing to deepen the development in this discipline to not only aspire to another classification in 2025 to the Spanish Championship, but to achieve a leading position.
