CAAAMPEEEEOOONEEES, PREFERENTE JUNIOR!

Our Junior Torrejón Basket has won the 1st Division Preferential title at the Juan De La Cierva Pavilion in Getafe (70-77) against a huge Moratalaz Basketball Club that has fought until the end, and we returned home to celebrate on Sunday May 26th and frame this moment.

The road was not easy at all, and along the way we remember many moments such as February 10th victory (44-42), winning a vital victory in the regular season against Halcones de Arroyofresno in the Javi Limones, which in the end made it as leader of league with 20-2, and we second with 19-3.

We remember in mid-March, beating a favorite like Santa María del Pilar A (62-64) as visitors; or, also, the Round of 16 against San Patricio, where we lost the first game (61-53) and then, convincingly at home (80-52) we sealed our place in the Quarterfinals.

Or without going any further, the last matchup itself, a very tough one against Baloncesto Leganés, where we started by losing at home in the first game and came back to win it by a favorable average of points (+3) and thus qualify for the final.

We congratulate Tomás Morales, our head coach, the coaching staff and all the players who have given their all in this 2023-2024 competition. Several also, who complete their U-18 formative training towards Senior age group at TBS.

You are all great, team.

This cup goes back to Torrejón de Ardoz.
