New reading in #LaCronica with the action of this past FBM weekend of April 6th and 7th, after the Easter break and starting the Playoffs in the Madrid Basketball Federation, and with our reference categories qualifying for the Quarterfinals of Madrid.

We celebrate it, and we tell you more, with what will be the preview for this next Madrid basketball weekend:

Second Year Benjamin, after the setback on March 16th at the Javi Limones at 12:30 against Brains Lombrillo (33-38), took flight again last weekend, on the first day of the second phase of league action (60 -35) with a win against Getafe B at home. First game, first victory. This April 13th we are going to the Juventud Alcalá tent to face their B squad, at 11:00.

The First Year Alevín finished the regular season without major setbacks with the victory on March 16th against Distrito Carabanchel (2-52), beating them in their pavilion. Then, the second phase began on April 6th with another victory (75-81) and a significant one, against San Agustín on their court in Madrid. The next game will be this April 13th at 12:30 at the Javi Limones, against Baloncesto Navalcarnero.

The First Year Girls Alevín continued with its upward rhythm: last March 16th, visitors at the home of Baloncesto San Fernando (12-50) won solvently, and then, to begin the second phase they had an enormous defensive performance (8- 58) closing the visiting Spinola Chamartín. The second game of the phase will be at Javi Limones at 7:15 p.m., against Lions Basket Arroyomolinos A this weekend.

The Second Year Alevín A was active and forceful in their last league matchday, number 18, at the Javi Limones against Uros de Rivas C. Starting the second phase, the Alevín has been the team that rested, but we will debut this April 13th at 10:45 at Javi Limones against Baloncesto Leganés B.

The Second Year Alevín B closed the regular season of the Marco Aldany League on March 16th on a visit, against Baloncesto Leganés B (80-30) with a defeat beyond expectations. Then, the second phase began with visitors also in Madrid, at the home of San Agustín (73-22) with another fall. We hope to shake off this negative streak on April 13th, when at 5:45 p.m. at the Javi Limones we will play against Alcorcón Basket B.

The Second Girls Alevín this March 16th at the Javi Limones received the Carabanchel District, a direct duel (20-1). We came in third with a record of 11-3, they come behind in fourth position with 10-5. Then, we began the second phase with a setback (51-40) against Buen Consejo on April 6th. Now, we will aim for a rest weekend, before visiting again on April 20th to play at 11:00 at Corazonistas home.

The First Year Girls Infantil Championship failed this March 16th (27-36) against C.B Legamar. But, we got even on April 6th, going to Magariños and winning (9-59) against Movistar Estudiantes B. The second match of this second phase takes us to Javi Limones to play at 2:15 p.m. against Villa de Valdemoro B on the 13th April.

The Infantil Preferente Femenino met their challenge on March 16th at Coin home court (20-34), and then on matchday 16 they continued winning (53-16) at home this time, against Astrobasket Infantil Valdemoro on April 6th. Where will we go next? To Paracuellos, to play against Colegio Miramadrid on April 13th at 9 AM.

The Infantil de Primer Año B began its second phase (30-56) with a loss against Alcorcón C.B this April 6th, the second phase. We will play the next game on April 13th at 11:15 at the home of the San Blas Olympic District.

The Infantil de Primer Año Torrejón Baloncesto won this March 16th at the Nuria Fernández (45-40) against Movistar Estudiantes A, which is a direct rival that was above in the table. Then, they have started the second phase with a rest day and it will be this April 13th when they debut at the home of San Ignacio Torrelodones, at 09:30.

The Infantil Preferente fell again this March 16th (17-57) against Villa de Algete. Then, on matchday 19 of the league, we were very close to beating memoria F.C.B 10 (39-35) on April 6th. We now hope to reverse this negative moment on April 13th, away against La Paz C.D Amarillo, at 09:00.

Infantil A closed with consecutive victories against a direct rival, San Agustín Madrid A on March 17th (58-57) in a great game. But, we started the third phase in the Bronze category with a defeat (48-40) against Lions Basket Arroyomolinos on April 7th. This April 14th at 4:00 p.m. at the Javi Limones, we hope to return to victory when we host C.B Las Rozas B.

The Cadete Femenino played on matchday 18 against Villanueva de la Cañada (58-22), the league leader with a record of 16-3. But, José Ginés girls have done the rest and have returned to the path of victory last weekend, beating Parla Básquet (46-39) at the Nuria Fernández. We hope to extend this positive moment on April 13th when at 2:15 p.m. at the Javi Limones we play against Patrocinio San José in the J-20.

Our Blue Cadet 2009 fell in the game scheduled for March 2nd as visitors at Colegio Everest, at 11:00 on March 17th (66-41). Before, the category triumphed (54-34) this March 9th at the Javi Limones against G.S.D Guadarrama, and then they won again against Distrito Carabanchel D (30-97) on a visit. Last weekend, loss (64-51) at the home of Movistar Estudiantes G. On April 13th at 09:00 we will play at Javi Limones against Olympic Aranjuez.

Cadete Blanco 2009 lost to C.D.I Rozasbasket (73-52) at the end of March. On April 6th they turned this around, and came to victory (71-35) against Colegio Los Sauces, and what will come next weekend is an outing to Colegio Everest, at 10:00 on April 13th.

The Torrejón 2008 B Basketball Cadet continued to triumph, when this March 16th at the Javi Limones (41-33) they defeated C.B Villa de Leganés Negro. On matchday 19, they were unable to extend the streak (90-36) against C.B Las Rozas E. We will return home, when on April 20th we have to host Majadahonda Blanco at the Javi Limones at 4:00 p.m.

The Torrejón 2008 A Basketball Cadet won this March 16th against Agustiniano (40-56), and then made a positive impression when on April 6 (93-46) they played very well and defeated Torre de Hortaleza. Cadete B continues its upward rhythm and for another consecutive weekend wins again (84-48), this March 17th against Baloncesto Alcobendas B, the third, to close the phase. We, as leaders of the table, have been promoted to the Silver category, from Bronze, and this April 21th we will visit C.B Las Rozas B, to play at 7:30 p.m.

Cadet A has had a lot of action recently: This March 17th we closed the FBM Gold phase, going to Alcorcón Basket (56-68) and winning. As fifth place, we qualified for the Pre-Playoff, and this April 5th we had the first game against Baloncesto Alcobendas A (68-60) with a victory for Agustín Sánchez team. Then, in the second of the series, we were able to close them out (81-86) in their pavilion and sweep the series. We qualified for the Quarterfinals! Now, this April 13th in Madrid we will play against Real Canoe A, at 4:30 p.m. A tough nut to crack, since we suffered two defeats in the second phase against them, but it will not be an impossible challenge, come on! – the second of the 1/4 Final series this April 20th at home, at 2:15 p.m.

Junior Masc. Preferential, well, spectacular in every sense: great game on matchday 20, visiting Santa María del Pilar A, the leader with 18-2, and beating them (62-64) on March 16th in the last ones. Then, on April 6th, the regular season closed with another victory (70-45) against Parla Básquet. Congratulations, we made it to the Playoffs! Everything will start this April 13th with a visit, at San Patricio house at 6:30 p.m., and the second game of the Round of 16 will be on April 20th at 7:45 p.m. at the Javi Limones. Junior B played against Spanish Basketball Academy A, the leader (78-50) and what a game they played, triumphing convincingly. We rested for a long time in April, and we will return to the court this 28th of the month, at home, to face Uros de Rivas B starting the third phase in Bronze.

Junior A played a great game this past March 15th at the Javi Limones against Movistar Estudiantes A (81-87), which could not culminate in victory. Despite this, we qualified for the Pre-Playoffs and in the Round of 16 it was our turn to C.B Tres Cantos, whom we defeated! First game on April 5th at the Javi Limones with a win (72-52), then they matched us in their stadium the next day (67-50) in a bad game for us.
