This past Sunday at the Javi Limones, there was a date with history: the Senior National Basket Torrejón defended the first place in the league, against the second and second team, Club Baloncesto Las Rozas. The VIPS Game on the last day of the league was decided in our favor (77-66). The first TBS team advances to the Playoffs as the leader, something unprecedented in previous years.

It was the seventeenth league victory, by only five defeats. The team culminates the regular round with a streak of seven consecutive wins, after the last defeat towards the end of January, against Palacio Criollo Arganda, a team that finished in third place.

To measure what was achieved by those led by Jeremías Zuttion, it must be said that the team opened the 2023-2024 season with a 1-3 record, with narrow defeats against the aforementioned Palacio Criollo Arganda, and C.D Estudio, second and third in the table today.

Then, since November 11th, an astonishing 16-2 record has been achieved, winning games convincingly and demonstrating that this team is a serious candidate for promotion to the EBA League, instances where Torrejón Basketball Academy has not been in years and where this institution and the city deserve to be. Torrejón Basketball Academy begins its Round of 16 series against Baloncesto Villalba on April 13th.
