The weekend of January 27th and 28th has passed at Torrejón Basketball Academy and with much more FBM action. We are going to review our results, as usual, in another edition that we read in #LaCronica:

Second Year Benjamín has found a slump and fell in a perhaps expected way (65-14) against Salto Ángel Batteries, in their pavilion this January 27th. This rival has only known one defeat so far, so we were starting off with an uphill climb. The category plays again this Sunday for the J-13, since we will have a break on Matchday 12 starting February. This February 4th we will visit Veritas Pozuelo in the morning.

The First Year Alevín continues and continues to win this time, collecting (59-72) in a difficult duel against El Valle C.D, who was our closest pursuer in the table, being third with a record of 8-2. We then gave them their third fall of the course, and we went up to 10-1. Next game at 10:45 at the Javi Limones this February 3rd, against Liceo Francés.

The First Year Girls Alevín this time was able to achieve its ninth victory (23-62) against Agustiniano in Madrid. We will return to action this February 3rd at 12:30 at the Javi Limones, against C.B Getafe.

The Second Year Alevín A rises to a 10-1 record with this recent victory, against Baloncesto Aristos (61-29), which is fourth in the table. We remain tied at the top of the table, sharing it with another team, and waiting for this Saturday, February 3rd at 09:00 we will play at the Javi Limones against Spinola Chamartín.

The Second Year Alevín B has not achieved the objective (70-19) and repeats defeat, against Alcorcón C.B 2012. Let us hope to lift this when on February 3rd at 2:15 p.m. Manuel Álvarez team plays against Santa María del Pilar, in the Javi Limones.

The Second Year Girls Alevín won for the eighth time, and counting: we triumphed (43-30) at the Javi Limones against Rivas Parque Sureste B. Second place in the table, and the next day we will face the third, Colegio Joyfe, in Madrid at 09:00 on February 3rd.

The First Year Girls Infantil team did not find the formula this January 27th at the Javi Limones (19-47) against Movistar Estudiantes C. We will look for the third league victory this February 3rd when in the afternoon at 4:45 p.m., we go to the home of the C.B Villa de Valdemoro.

The Preferente Infantil Femenino has rested on our last game day, and this helped them arrive with energy and sweep the derby against Severo Torrejón (4-54) with great defensive performance. The girls will have another bye week on Matchday 10 FBM, but they will return to action on February 10th when they play as visitors against Baloncesto 86 La Salle, at 09:30.

The Infantil de Primer Año B team lost (33-45) in the end against Baloncesto Aristos and could not achieve victory at home. We will seek to add positive results again this February 3rd, as visitors, when at 4:30 p.m. we play against Santa María del Pilar. Difficulty with this game, since this team is the leader with a 9-1 record.

The First Year Infantil Torrejón Baloncesto had another difficult weekend (36-68), in the Javi Limones losing to Parla Básquet. Next weekend, Saturday February 3rd, we will play as visitors in Alcalá de Henares when at 09:30 it is time to go against Baloncesto Alcalá A, a rival from the upper league zone.

The Infantil Preferente lost (54-56) in the last one against Liceo Francés Alex, which is a direct rival, so it is one that hurts. We will recover at the Javi Limones, because it will be time to do the rest: this February 3rd at 2:15 p.m. when it is time to receive Estudio A, the undefeated leader of the FBM league.

Infantil A has not found the handle in Bronze of Liga Ahorramás, falling (61-51) against A.D.C Boadilla A, in Rey Felipe VI. Opening of the phase with 0-3, but, this February 4th at 5:45 p.m. we will face the last one, C.B Isaac Newton, at the Javi Limones so it is an opportunity to regain confidence and straighten out.

The Cadete Femenino have not participated (20-0) against Pilaristas A this January 27. We return to Madrid this February 3rd, at 1:00 p.m., at the home of Colegio Menesiano, which leads the league with a record of 11-0, come on girls, you can do it!

Torrejón Basketball Academy dresses up to impress every time the rarity occurs that two of our teams measure each other in league play: turn of the rematch between the Cadete Blanco 2009 and our Cadete Azul 2009, who will face each other in the Nuria Fernández pavilion this February 3rd, at 09:00. At the top of the table is Blanco, in sixth position with a 4-5 record, while Azul is 3-6 and trails him as seventh.

The Torrejón 2008 B Basketball Cadet returned to Javi Limones this January 27th against Colegio Alameda de Osuna (28-57). A tough rival, since we will face the number two in the standings who had only been defeated once. We are still at home for the next weekend, but moving to Nuria Fernández this February 3rd to play 10:45 against Colegio Miramadrid Paracuellos A.

The Torrejón 2008 A Basketball Cadet won at Nuria Fernández against Pilaristas B (87-36), and we have the highlights on the YouTube channel. We have a record of 9-2, seconds behind Santa María del Pilar. This weekend, we will play on February 3rd at 12:30 at Nuria Fernández at 12:30 against Distrito Carabanchel B.

Cadet B was solvent (47-74) on January 28th against Juventud Alcalá in their pavilion. We achieved the second victory of the Bronze phase, in the Ahorramás League. The next match will be this February 4rd at 4:00 p.m. against C.B Ciudad Móstoles, another direct rival.

Cadet A achieved the epic in the Gold phase of Liga Ahorramás at Javi Limones this January 28th at Javi Limones (81-78) against Movistar Estudiantes A. A huge victory! Also with a lot of meaning, after the two previous and heavy defeats against this rival, which finally make our boys show their full potential. All the highlights of the match are on the YouTube channel and in Shorts, as well as an interview with one of the protagonists, Álvaro Fernández. This does not stop, and we only face the best: on February 3rd we will play in Valdebebas, against the leader Real Madrid A at 09:15.

Junior Masc. Preferente added another important victory (54-42) against Baloncesto Navalcarnero, at the Nuria Fernández. We rise to a 12-2 mark, and are second in the FBM standings. This February 3rd in Madrid in the morning we will play against San Viator C, at the Pepe Domaica.

The Junior B in Silver from Liga Ahorramás failed in their visit (106-85) to the Caja Mágica, against Movistar Estudiantes B. This coming February 11th will be the next game of the category, visiting when they face Spanish Basketball Academy A 2:00 p.m. The future rival is 3-0, we are 1-2 in the phase.

Our Junior A has not been able to find victory in the Ahorramás League against Baloncesto Torrelodones A in their pavilion (82-67), and the second defeat of the Gold phase arrives. Matchday 4 will take us home against another tough rival this February 4th, when we face Zentro Basket A at 7:30 p.m.

The Under-22 Bronze team regained the path of victory this January 28th as visitors, (42-82) against Basket Hoyo de Manzanares. We now share the top of the FBM standings with Uros de Rivas C, with a 12-1 record. We hope to uneven and continue climbing this February 4th at 5:30 p.m. at the home of San Agustín Los Negrales.

The Under-22 Gold won this January 28 (58-82) against Rivas Parque Sureste. The entire match is uploaded to YouTube for your enjoyment. The team continues to lead with 12-1, and we will play this February 4th at the Nuria Fernández against C.B Pizarro Campus Ávila at 1:30 p.m.

We have seen the winning streak in the VIPS League stopped this January 27, against Palacio Criollo Arganda (79-62). Number one against number two in the VIPS League. It was a game where it was difficult for us to add rhythm, and where both Thomas Billinger stood out with his 17 points, as well as Rubén Escanciano, the shooter from Jeremías Zuttion team.
