The last of the 2023 editions of #LaCrónica! And what a way to frame these 365 days, with a weekend more than complete with positive results for Torrejón Basketball Academy. We highlight the fifth victory in a row of the Senior National, the heroic attack and classification of the Junior A in the Ahorramás League, the undefeated U-22 of both teams and a constant progress in our girls section, especially with the Alevín and Cadete seasons.

Second Year Benjamín returned to victory on December 16th at Javi Limones (64-21) against Pilaristas. Sixth place in the standings, and Matchday 9 will be on January 13th when away from home and at a time to be defined we still have to play against Brains Lombillo, at the Brains School.

The First Year Alevín has had to reschedule its game on December 9th against Baloncesto Aristos Amarillo for the month of March, so the next game of the category will be this January 13th, 2024, against Distrito Carabanchel at the Javi Limones on schedule define. We are second, with a record of 7-1, and the next opponent has a record of 0-8.

The First Year Girls Alevín continues to win and there are now 7 victories, with the most recent (56-68) against Pureza de María in their pavilion last Saturday. On January 13th, 2024 we will return to the ring, against Baloncesto San Fernando at the Javi Limones.

The Second Year Alevín A has brought a good harvest in its last game of the year (54-4) against Colegio Miramadrid Paracuellos. The next matchday will be on January 13th, visiting Uros de Rivas C. The category leads the league with a 7-1 record.

The Second Year Alevín B failed (64-21) in Madrid, against Movistar Estudiantes "Wintering". Next January 13th we will look again, with rest, for better feelings when we have to play at Javi Limones against Baloncesto Leganés B.

The Second Year Girls Alevín won with a good performance (46-25) against Liceo Francés Inés, and thus the girls have added the fifth victory of the course. Matchday 9 on January 13th, 2024 will be as visitors, at the Carabanchel District home at a time yet to be defined as usual.

The First Year Girls Infantil team returned to the court at Nuria Fernández against Marianistas Amoros, and could not achieve the victory (12-49). Record of 2-5, and next January 13th at 09:00 we will play away from home at C.B Legamar.

The Preferente Infantil Femenino visited Astrobasket Infantil Femenino Valdemoro, and beat them (49-53) with a great victory. They are already 5-1 in the standings, and in January we will return to face Colegio Miramadrid Paracuellos. at a time to be determined, at the Javi Limones. 

The Infantil de Primer Año B played on December 16th and triumphed (28-58) against visiting Colegio Miramadrid Paracuellos in the first of the double date. What happened next, the next day? New victory against Baloncesto Daganzo (38-27) at the Javi Limones. We are back in the race, record 3-5 and we rise to fifth position in the FBM group. Matchday 9 will be a rest for the group, but we will play again on January 20th as visitors, against Marianistas Amoros at a time to be defined.

The First Year Infantil Torrejón Basketball team returned to victory (47-43) against Virgen de Atocha at the Nuria Fernández. Third win of the year, and on January 13, 2024 we will have a difficult match against Movistar Estudiantes A, in Magariños. It is a direct rival in the table, since we are the closest pursuer.

The Infantil Preferente became strong at home (47-33) against memoria F.C.D 10 B, on December 16 at the Javi Limones. It was a direct rival in the standings, so we have a good feeling. League Matchday 9 takes us back to Javi Limones this January 13th, to play against La Paz C.D Amarillo.

Infantil A suffered this December 17th against the league leader, Baloncesto Alcobendas C (57-7) in a match where we did not find the compass on offense. We finished the first stage of the Ahorramás League in fifth position, with a record of 3-7. We will wait to see how the rivals are drawn and we will report on the next match to start January 2024. The

Cadete Femenino were defeated (44-35) against Parla Básquet. Direct rivals, with the same 1-6 record as us, and it is a defeat that hurts. Matchday 9 this January 13th, 2024 takes us away from home to play against Patrocinio San José at a time to be defined.

The Cadete Blanco 2009 this time won and very well (45-82) at Colegio Los Sauces this December 16th. We rose to a 3-4 record. The next game will be at Javi Limones, against Everest School at a time to be determined.

Cadete Azul 2009 could not extend the moment (42-59) against Movistar Estudiantes G. Azul and is now with a 3-4 record. We have to play away from home against Olympic Aranjuez on January 13th.

Cadete Baloncesto Torrejón 2008 B struggled again (44-66) against C.B Las Rozas E and suffered another defeat in a row. Matchday 9 this January 13th, 2024 takes us to play at the home of C.B Majadahonda Blanco. Let us hope to get our first victory of the season.

Cadete Baloncesto Torrejón 2008 A (35-42) extends its winning streak against La Torre de Hortaleza. Next game on January 13th at a time to be determined against Aravaca Basket C.D.E, at the Javi Limones. We are tied at the top of the table with a record of 7-1.

Cadete B could not extend the streak (74-64) against C.B Las Rozas B at the San José Municipal Sports Center. We finished this first round with a 7-3 record, behind this rival 8-2 record, and qualifying for the next phase. Everything still to be defined, and congratulations to our kids.

Cadet A claimed to be in the Gold phase in the next stage of the season in 2024. It was postponed against Zentro Basket this December 12th at the Javi Limones, the last game left as both were already classified in the high zone. We will have to see who the rivals are, and how January 2024 begins for ours.

Junior Masc. Preferente fell in a thriller worthy of a movie (46-45) against Parla Básquet Black, this December 16th. We thought it could be achieved outside the home. We remain in third place with a 9-2 record, and Matchday 12 takes us to Javi Limones to play Olympic Aranjuez at a time to be determined, this January 13th.

Junior B still lost in the last breath with a poor final quarter in defense on December 17 against the second, Sun Chlorella Dragons (75-83). This rival regained first place in the table on average, having surpassed us despite our victory at the Antonio Díaz Miguel. We are second with an even record of 9-1. Let us wait for a nice next FBM phase.

Our Junior A did the heroic thing this December 17th at the Javi Limones, against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada A, in a shocking match that defined the last place of qualifications. Winning with average, we climbed to third place (5-4 for us, and 6-3 for them, one place up). And, our character made it so (68-53), winning convincingly in the match of the day in the Ahorramás League. With this victory, we eliminated Fuenlabrada, and also surpassed Baloncesto Torrelodones A to be second in the group, behind undefeated Movistar Estudiantes A. We continue forward.

The Under-22 Bronze team remains undefeated alone (35-58) after beating Baloncesto Paracuellos, at 11:00 in their pavilion. League Matchday 11 will be on January 14th, 2024, and we will play against Baloncesto 86 La Salle. We are the only one undefeated, with a 10-0 record. Tremendous, team. You deserve it.

The Under-22 Gold was left with a pending match against Uros de Rivas, who was due to visit this December 17th at 1:30 p.m. A tough rival since we are first but they are third in the standings. We still have to close 2023 with a 10-0 record and that is how we aim to do it.

And finally, the Senior National team continues to extend its winning streak (68-53) against C.D Estudio. Thomas Billinger, the German, has been the MVP and leader in rating. There are now 5 wins in a row, wow! It is crazy what Jeremías Zuttion team has achieved so far, that now climbs to third place with a record of 8-4 after winning the VIPS Match of the Day. This 2024 starts on January 13th, at the home of Baloncesto Atocha at 7:30 p.m. Next, this is not a sprint, it is a marathon.
