Triumphal bells. The most coveted sound, and boy do we like it at Torrejón Basketball Academy. Last weekend we saw the first win for the National Senior in this 2022-203 edition of the FBM VIPS League, in addition, we were the home team at our beloved Javi Limones. We won with a tight 75-73 on the scoreboard against C.D.V, thus tied the record of one win and one setback for this league start in the standings.

Jorge Herráiz was the best player on the court, with a spectacular perimeter accuracy; seven triples and 31 of the 75 points were his work. Perhaps the best game of his TBS career. He was seconded by the American Daniel Almarante with 16 points and 8 rebounds, and also worth mentioning a solid contribution from the Australian Jackson Townsend with 7 points and 6 rebounds in almost 15 minutes of play. This victory too happened three Juniors on the court: Daniel Ríos, Amadou Maiga and Diosdado Krohnert.

The National Senior returns to the fray on Matchday 3, this time as visitors at the El Plantío Pavilion, where we will face C.B Coslada. The game will be at 18:30, this October 22nd.
