In the Javi Limones Pavilion, the meeting between Básket Torrejón and the Olympic District was held. The locals lined up with: Iván Sánchez (11), Pau Monroig (77), Javier Sánchez (13), Mario Pérez (15) and Roberto Donaire (8), while the visiting team formed with Alejandro Iglesias (1), Javier de la Blanca (10), Adrián Escribano (6), Arthur Laurent (12) and Diego Guijarro (14).

The match started with the visitors ahead 0-6, taking advantage of their clear opportunities and converting. Quite the opposite to Torrejón, who found it difficult to catch the scoring rhythm, even until the sixth minute they did not score a basket. With three minutes remaining, the locals had already picked up the pace, and after a scoring streak of 10-3 they were up 10-9 on the scoreboard; the one that finished 12-9 at the end of the quarter. In this first period the most important by the district were Alejandro Iglesias and Arthur Laurent, while for the Torrejón Basketball they were Iván Sánchez and Roberto Donaire. Later the second period began with Distrito again in better scoring rhythm and with the help of, again, a stellar Alejandro Iglesias and now with a scorer, Álvaro Romero, they got up 16-24 with a partial 4-15. Torrejón, from the hand of seven points followed by Iván Sánchez (two baskets of two points and a triple) put one below 23-24. Distrito Olímpico converted from three and on the next play, to make the game even more entertaining, Mario Pérez made an “and 1” and converting the free kick put things as two plays before. The visitors, meanwhile, returned two by two with a high-level Álvaro Romero, but Basket Torrejón put things even with another triple. The quarter ended with a constant "give and take" but Roberto Donaire, with 22 seconds left, put things two up for the locals.

The third quarter was even, like the others, but this time the protagonists were the visitors having a partial that put them two up at the end of this. Here, Torrejón saw one of his weaknesses, which was the little "sharing of the cake" while an Olympic District more focused on distributing the annotation, and he looked much more solid in important moments. However, the third quarter began with a Basket Torrejón which, this time, did start better, with a 7-4 streak. But the visiting team made the necessary adjustments and offensively, the protagonist of the night appeared if we talk about scoring by the District, Ignacio Martínez. On the other hand, the distribution factor appeared as they went from 42-35 to 45-47 with two triples, each from a different player, and three doubles, again from three different players.

An offensive stagnation by the locals due to the error to a greater extent, but also to the lack of obtaining open or convertible shots, caused them to go down two, 45-47, to play the decisive period Finally, the fourth period started again with the Olympic District above and with a partial of 1-7. In the development of this, it was seen that the District maintained an advantage of between six and eight points throughout the time, making Torrejón depend on free throws, throwing eight of the 11 that they threw in total only in this quarter. The visitors, led by Ignacio Martínez and Javier de la Blanca, achieved an eight-point lead with 2:30 to go. The scoreboard was 54-62 in favor of the visit, but a Roberto Donaire who, reaffirming his position as the best interior of last season, made two triples in about a minute and a half. Between those two triples, Javier de la Blanca converted from two, leaving everything 60-40 in favor of the visit. After an unsportsmanlike foul, Roberto defined and cold blood put things down two for Basket Torrejón, with an attack to win it. After a poor defense by Miguel Ángel Lago boys, Carlos Abentin was alone under the ring but the passer did not see him, and there passed the clear option of tying the game by the locals. On the other hand, the capital team, intelligently, knew how to maintain the advantage even so when the torrejoneros approached them very dangerously.

In general terms, the party went through intelligence when defining by the District and the little distribution of the annotation by Torrejón, which depended on Roberto Donaire at the end of the game. It was a great victory for the Olympic District and a painful one defeat for Basket Torrejón, 62-64.
