Hectic day and a dream start achieved for our categories in these Madrid Basketball Federation Playoffs, without a doubt.

The challenge, on paper, is complicated. A start to the playoff brackets for both Cadet A and Junior A as visitors, at the Movistar Academy in Magariños. And boy have we exceeded expectations. Victories for Junior A (61-66), led by a Malique Lewis who has been unstoppable, and Cadet A (46-66) comfortably with a double.digit lead gave the first bell ring in the Community of Madrid basketball scene. The remarkable prospect from Trinidad and Tobago scored almost half of our Juniors 66 points, while the Chilean Daniel Ríos and our Spain shooting guard hailing from Alcalá de Henares Diosdado Krohnert Moto led the cadets to this huge win. Also, the Senegalese Adama Traoré was a beats on the boards.

Today we will have the second leg at Javi Limones, and with another couple of positive records, Torrejón Basketball Academy will be qualifying to the next phase of the Playoffs. Still behind closed doors, Cadet A will play at 17:45 while Junior A will do the same at 19:30.
