Another weekend ending on a positive note here at #LaCronica
Infantil B beat Getafe C (47-53) while visiting Getafe C. The team adjusts its record in the standings to 2-2, to place us in third place.
Double header of our Infantil A, with big victories against Juventud Alcalá (78-26, and 28-65) that gives us a good spot necessary to face a very demanding second phase.
Good record of the Yellow Cadet (64-28) against Pozuelo. Great game of the boys with a great defense. We highlight the academy player Lukas Aguirre as well as David Canito and Sergio Faus.
The 2006-born TBS Cadet (48-29) beat Morataláz, in a tough game of our first-year cadets, and highlighting the performance of Marcos Sánchez and the academy player Leonardo Atencio.
Cadet B (76-42) beat Olímpico 64, in an exceptional match by our Cadet B where the dominance of the rebound and offensive transitions unleashed the rival who won 21 in the first leg. We highlight the player Amadou Maiga and Wilfredo Diaz with Samuel Loures. Then another great victory for Cadet B (82-53) over Fuenlabrada B. An intense game by our boys who, despite the losses, and with a great defense, broke the game. To highlight without question again the performance of the academy players Leonardo Atencio and Amadou Maiga. Also the rebounds of Mario Pachón and the triples of Wilfredo Díaz.
Our Female Cadet was unable to visit Boadilla (49-47). Too bad, we continue with the bad streak away from home. Tough third quarter that the game cost us. Notable players? Andrea Arenas with 17 points, and Irene Serrano with 19 points.
Cadet A beat Alcorcón B well (60-80), a last match of the first phase where we remain undefeated; great start of the game where we get a good advantage. Nathan Fernández with 4 triples and Daniel Ríos with 3 were the outside threat.
Early rise in the morning for the Junior C boys, who took another victory and secure the first place in the group. Victory against Menesiano (50-87) of TBS Junior C.
Junior B defeated his similar from Movistar Estudiantes C by a wide margin (68-40), and secured the head to head against the Magariños team.
Junior A had the hard bone to crack on this day of the weekend, against Real Madrid (55-104). The visitor outscored us in the second half, after a first where we remained competitive against the collection of NBA prospects on the court. For our academy, in attack we highlight the contributions of Ignacio Ansaldo and Daniel Azancot, as well as in defense of Malique Lewis and Adama Traore.
The U-22 category is unstoppable and remains undefeated, after a narrow victory (61-59) against Olímpico 64.
